TEACHING LAND BACK!
FROM TURTLE ISLAND TO PALESTINE
OCTOBER 18-20, 2024 | TUCSON, ARIZONA
Join us for three days of intensive field work and professional development in the U.S./Mexico borderlands to learn how border militarization, land dispossession and organizing for land back on Turtle Island interconnects with the ongoing struggle against genocide in Gaza.
This institute is intended for K-20 educators interested in teaching Palestine in an Ethnic Studies framework and the focus will be on developing curriculum using the content from our three days together. There will be an opportunity for follow-up networking so that all participants can share the curriculum they have produced.
